OH FUCK. I knew this would happen someday. This … this is a dangerous question, because I actually have an academic essay outlined on my computer about Jaime Lannister. Not. Fucking. Kidding. He is hands-down my favorite character, and possibly my favorite character of all time, which is saying a hell of a lot because I GET TOO ATTACHED TO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS is pretty much the refrain of my existence.

Seeing as I don’t have the formalized analysis actually written (I still have to finish the books and then go back and find quotes for textual support and this is actually a thing I am doing somebody save me), I will give you the less organized, more fangirly and flail-filled outpouring of FEELINGS. Buckle up, folks.

(WARNING: TONS OF SPOILERS UP TO AND INCLUDING AFfC.)

You can find it under the break because a) this is going to be so fucking long you have no idea and b) I know I’m followed by/follow a few people who disagree with some of what I’m about to say and I respect their opinions and analysis like no other so I don’t want to leave a massive provoking post on their dash.
